Poaching

It is technically illegal to hunt wild animals here in America. It is considered an inhumane crime. Although we do not really see poaching on a day to day basis, it is happening in other countries such as Zimbabwe, and eventually we in America may become liable for poaching in the near future. Even though there is no logical reason as to why poaching is acceptable in Africa, many people have assumed that the lack of employment opportunities and issues with agriculture and livestock production may be a motive for poaching. Africa in general has several rare species that are worth a lot of money here in America and other countries, so this is one of the leading causes as to why poaching wild animals still exists. Poaching should not be a seen as a reliable source of income. It is an illegal crime that is most commonly done outside of the United States where the animals’ habitats are. I personally believe that hunting should stop overall, people in the country are still hunting innocent animals and I just do not see the purpose in killing wild life when we have so much available to us today.
